Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Entry Level Events Assistant to join our vibrant events team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting field of event planning and management. You will assist in the coordination and execution of various events, from corporate conferences to community festivals.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and execution of various events from inception to completion.
Coordinate logistical arrangements such as venue selection, catering, and equipment rental.
Maintain communication with vendors and suppliers to ensure all event requirements are met.
Support event promotion through social media, email marketing, and other channels.
Assist in the creation and distribution of event materials, including programs and signage.
Help set up and dismantle event spaces, ensuring they are ready before and after events.
Qualifications & Skills
A passion for event planning and a desire to learn about the industry.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
