About the Role:
As a Hybrid Wholesaler focused on Model Portfolio Distribution, you'll be responsible for driving sales and managing client relationships with advisors who are focused on model portfolios. You'll be the expert on our Model Portfolios, partnering with internal teams to deliver the full range of our firm's capabilities. You'll identify and develop new business opportunities, build strong relationships with key decision-makers, and achieve sales targets within your assigned territory.
What You'll Do:
Drive the growth of Model Portfolios within your assigned territory.
Become the go-to expert on our Model Portfolios and the broader Model Portfolio landscape.
Partner with Portfolio Construction and Product Strategists to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Generate significant new business from strategic prospects.
Identify, qualify, and develop relationships with key decision-makers.
Develop and execute plans to capitalize on short-term and long-term opportunities.
Partner with marketing and other sales teams to develop promotional materials.
Respond to RFPs and create tailored presentations.
Develop and execute relationship management strategies.
Negotiate sales contracts and ensure alignment with organizational policies.
Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, regulations, and competitor offerings.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
8+ years of relevant work experience.
FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses.
Willingness to travel regularly within your territory.
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of asset management sales experience, including experience selling model portfolios.
Advanced sales, service, and relationship management skills.
Advanced territory management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Outstanding presentation and public speaking skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
