Job Title: Training Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Training Manager to oversee the development and management of our training programs and materials. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing and coordinating the creation of training content, ensuring alignment with company objectives, safety standards, and operational requirements. You will collaborate with subject matter experts, operations teams, and leadership to ensure the delivery of effective, engaging, and compliant training solutions for employees across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training Program Development and Coordination:
    • Collaborate with the Safety Manager and Regional Manager II's to understand training objectives and operational needs.
    • Design, develop, and manage comprehensive training programs, including instructional materials and assessments as distributed and tracking in the LMS and Safety 101.
    • Assist operations with creating and maintaining Location Operations Manuals at new and existing locations ensuring all training and safety protocols are up to date.
    • Regularly updated location-specific operations manuals, ensuring the most current training and contact information is included (quarterly).
    • Implement e-learning tools and platforms to support training programs, optimize content for accessibility, and ensure ease of use on multiple devices.
    • Travel to Foxtrot locations in order to train team members on services to Foxtrot standards as well as develop new training materials and processes/procedures.
  2. E-Learning Content Creation and Management:
    • Design and develop engaging interactive e-learning materials, quizzes, and assessments to support training objectives.
    • Utilize learning management systems (LMS) to upload, organize, and monitor the performance and company compliance of training content.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve training materials, leveraging feedback from employees and stakeholders to enhance effectiveness.
    • Explore and implement new technologies to scale and enhance the training program as the company grows.
  3. Training Content Quality and Compliance:
    • Ensure all training content adheres to company standards and complies with relevant industry regulations and safety requirements.
    • Keep up to date with industry best practices in training content development and e-learning trends to maintain the quality and relevance of training materials.
    • Conduct regular reviews of content effectiveness, ensuring it meets the needs of diverse audiences and operational environments.
  4. Project Management and Collaboration:
    • Coordinate with operations and leadership teams to ensure the timely delivery and overall company compliance of training programs.
    • Provide regular updates on project timelines, deliverables, and any potential challenges.
    • Collect feedback from learners and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and ensure continuous refinement of the training process.
  5. Support and Engagement:
    • Serve as a point of contact for staff regarding training content and system-related inquiries.
    • Actively contribute to fostering a collaborative and integrated company culture by engaging in various operational activities and providing support where needed.
    • Work to become subject matter expert in Foxtrot's service verticals Facility, MRO, Private and Commercial.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in training program management, instructional design, and e-learning content creation preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with e-learning development tools such as Articulate, Moodle, or similar LMS preferred but not required.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure content accuracy, clarity, and alignment with company goals.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in creating training materials and assessments for diverse audiences is preferred but not required.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning, janitorial processes, and safety protocols (preferred but not required).

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to travel for site visits and meetings across various job locations (expectation of trips lasting 3-5 days at a time).
  • Ability to lift and carry training equipment as needed for on-site support.
  • Willingness to contribute to various operational functions, including assisting with janitorial and other business verticals, fostering an integrated company culture.
  • Must be comfortable traveling by small corporate aircraft (e.g., King Air) and commercial airlines.

  • High user engagement with e-learning content and positive feedback from learners.
  • Timely and effective updates to training materials and operations manuals.
  • Overall company training compliance percentages.
