Responsibilities

The Department of Emergency Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a supplemental academic Emergency Medicine physician.  The successful candidate must be a residency trained, ABEM/ABOEM board certified / eligible physician with a demonstrated interest in academic emergency medicine.
This opportunity includes the following:

• Ability to join a faculty with commitment to excellence in practice, education and research in a >30,000 visit/year high acuity Emergency Department.
• Ability to contribute to educational mission of Mayo Clinic working closely with learners inside and outside of the Emergency Department (e.g. medical students, nursing students, residents from multiple specialties)
• A world-class multidisciplinary simulation center
• Numerous opportunities for collaborative multi-disciplinary and multi-site research across Mayo Clinic
