Under the direction of the Assistant Claims Manager, the incumbent will:

• Ensure timely and accurate benefit provision, according to claims management, corporate policies & procedures and DWC laws and regulations
• Proactively and independently, manage, finalize and control (adjust) an inventory
• Work collaboratively as a member within a team of claims professionals and with other stakeholders
• Serve as a resource to other team members and/or other internal staff
• Ensure delivery of a high quality claims product as demonstrated by successful execution of job duties

The successful candidate will have the following skills and abilities:

• Self-motivated
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage and control a workers' compensation insurance claims caseload, including but limited to claims with higher complexity
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management skills including managing working virtually
• Ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert for trainings and projects
