Remote ESL Teacher

We are a thriving international education firm with expertise in helping international students from 30+ countries make successful transitions to US schools. We are seeking a part-time ESL Teacher to join our team.  

This is a remote role with a great deal of flexibility. We are looking for experienced ESL teachers who are passionate about helping international students succeed in learning English.  Our teachers will lead both private and group classes.

This is a part-time, hourly role, that is fully remote and requires no travel.

Key Responsibilities:    

• Deliver engaging, interactive lessons to international students via virtual platforms.
• Monitor and assess students' progress, setting specific targets and adapting teaching methods to meet their individual needs.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that respects students' cultural backgrounds and fosters language development.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to students on their progress and areas for improvement.
• Maintain open communication with students and their families regarding progress and goals.
• Participate in professional development activities and stay updated on the latest ESL teaching strategies and resources.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field. 
• TESOL, TEFL, or equivalent certification in teaching English as a second or foreign language.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role, preferably in an international or virtual school setting.
• Native English speaker.
