(Physician/MD qualifications required) Pain Management - Physical Med and Rehab Physician OR Neurologist Middletown DE
We are seeking a compassionate Pain Management, PM&R, and|or Neurology Physician to join our medical practice in our Middletown DE office. We value our patients and truly want to listen to them and offer comprehensive care, so we schedule new patient appointments for 30-45 min blocks and follow up appointments in 30 min time frames. Our ideal Physician has tact and skill in patient management, excellent communication skills, and enjoys working as a part of a comprehensive team to offer our patients the best care possible, that they need and deserve! Will consider Physicians from a variety of backgrounds, including PM&R|Pain Management Physician, Orthopedists, Neurologist, and|or Sports Medicine Physician. The physician will be providing coverage at our offices in Middletown DE part time with the potential to add additional days work if willing to cover our Elkton, MD office (15 miles away) and|or offer Telehealth in Maryland (if licensed).

Job Duties:
Patient care and management- initial medical consults and patient follow up
Recommend tests and conducts diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment.
Order Diagnostic labs|imaging- in house computerized neurocognitive testing
Oversee the patients diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries, mild to moderate closed head injuries and post traumatic headaches
Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
Documentation - timely and accurate
Order|refer to in house therapies
Collaboration with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient care
Uphold the companys mission to provide exceptional patient care and leads in a way that aligns with the companys goals
Requirements:
MD|DO from an accredited educational institution
BCBE Neurologist, Physical Medicine and Rehab (PM&R), Pain Management, Orthopedists, and|or Sports Medicine Physician.
Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of DE and potentially Maryland
Favorable malpractice history
Basic Life Support|Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
DEA license

Part time
No Call or Weekends!
Salary:
$175-$200 per hour (depending on specialty|training)
