Description:, photographing, and grossing of specimens, and assist with frozen sections.

• May assist with administrative functions, including preparation and administrative maintenance of protocols, procedures, reports, data, and instruments, and may perform administrative, budgetary, teaching, and other duties.

Pathologist Assistant Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience as a Pathologist Assistant with current active employment in the position.
• Bachelor’s degree in a biological or health sciences field (e.g., biology, biomedical science, etc.) from a regionally accredited college or university.
• PA(ASCP) certified or eligible for and pass the PA(ASCP) within 12 months after hire.
• Completion of a NAACLS-accredited PA Program.

Shift:

• Between 9:00 am - 8:30 pm with flexibility.
