Job Description

Our Dermatology Insurance Verification Specialist conducts real-time benefit and insurance eligibility verifications as well as for our house call & video visit patients. While collaborating with payers, patients, and clinic staff to ensure a seamless check-in process.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, Onsite

What You'll Do

• Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits before scheduled appointments or procedures
• Contact insurance companies via phone, email, or web portals to confirm eligibility, coverage details, copayments, deductibles, and pre-authorizations
• Accurately enter and update insurance information in the patient's electronic health record (EHR) system
• Work closely with patients to communicate insurance benefits and financial responsibilities
• Identify and resolve insurance coverage issues that may delay or impact patient care

Skills And Experience

• ACHHHS prior authorization experience is required
• Exceptional communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Technological proficiency and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
