Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Marketing & PR Manager to lead and enhance our public relations and marketing initiatives in Costa Mesa, California. This role is pivotal in driving brand visibility, building strong media relationships, and crafting compelling campaigns to promote our offerings. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of luxury hospitality or lifestyle marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans that align with revenue goals, brand identity, and seasonal objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media professionals, influencers, and PR agencies to secure impactful press coverage.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the PR agency, collaborating on story angles, media outreach, and placement opportunities.
- Plan and manage media and influencer visits, including creating detailed itineraries and ensuring a seamless experience.
- Create and oversee the development of press materials such as fact sheets, press releases, and executive biographies.
- Provide creative direction for photo and video shoots to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and resonates with the target audience.
- Monitor and analyze social media platforms and online reviews to identify trends and address guest feedback promptly.
- Promote on-site events and activations, including weddings, culinary experiences, and seasonal programs, through strategic marketing efforts.
- Ensure all marketing assets adhere to brand standards, including logos, typography, tone, and visual elements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Revenue Management, and Food & Beverage, to align messaging and campaign execution. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in marketing and public relations within the luxury hospitality, lifestyle, or travel sectors.
- Demonstrated success in securing earned media coverage and managing PR campaigns for premium brands.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Cloud and CRM tools.
- Strong understanding of brand marketing, public relations, and community engagement.
