Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior JIRA Administrator/Engineer with strong experience in infrastructure management, installations, upgrades, and patching for JIRA environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing JIRA in a containerized AWS environment , ensuring scalability, security, and performance optimization.
Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain JIRA, Confluence, and related Atlassian tools .
Manage patching, upgrades, and security configurations across JIRA instances.
Optimize JIRA performance and troubleshoot server-related issues.
Deploy and maintain JIRA in AWS , leveraging EC2, EKS, and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
Implement automated backups, monitoring, and disaster recovery solutions .
Ensure compliance with security and infrastructure best practices.
Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to integrate JIRA with other tools and systems.
Document infrastructure processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
7+ years of experience in JIRA administration with a focus on infrastructure and server management .
Strong expertise in AWS cloud services , including EC2, S3, RDS, and EKS.
Experience managing JIRA in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) .
Proficiency in Linux system administration, scripting (Bash, Python), and automation .
Knowledge of Atlassian plugin management, integrations, and performance tuning .
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
