Job Description

The Manager - Corporate Insurance, reporting to the Director - Corporate Insurance, will work cross-functionally to manage all aspects of Fortive's global commercial and captive insurance programs. Responsibilities + Plan, manage, and oversee the annual global insurance renewal process for various coverages, including general liability, property, umbrella/excess, worker's compensation, auto, cyber, directors & officers, and errors and omissions. + Improve the insurance data collection and storage process to effectively monitor and analyze insurance costs and provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions + Work directly with insurance brokers, risk management vendors, and colleagues worldwide to support global insurance placements + Oversee global allocation of premiums to operating companies and ensure timely payment of premiums internationally + Work directly with insurance carriers and Fortive operating companies to oversee the claims management process, including filing, tracking, and resolving insurance claims + Work closely with internal teams and external parties to ensure prompt and fair resolution of claims + Managing third party service providers for Fortive's captive insurance operations, including captive managers, actuaries, auditors, regulators, etc. + Serve as an initial point of contact for Fortive's corporate insurance needs, including coordinating with operating subsidiaries located within and outside the U.S working with the Director - Corporate Insurance to ensure needs are addressed timely and accurately. + Conduct training and awareness programs for employees on insurance related topics and best practices + Assist in preparation and presentation of reports on insurance related matters to management and the board. Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in risk management, insurance, finance, business administration or related field required + Professional certifications such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter or Associate in Risk Management, preferred + Progressive insurance and risk management experience with strong working knowledge of multinational companies and captive insurance entities + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional internal and external teams + Effectively handle multiple activities with competing priorities, anticipating issues while identifying and implementing solutions to drive results + Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to a diverse audience through various formats, such as presentations, written proposals, reports and training sessions + Advance working knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, Word and PowerPoint + Ability to travel up to 15% of time + Experience with Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) such as Riskonnect or Origami, preferred + This position will report to Fortive's Director - Corporate Insurance and will be remote + This position requires that you be a self-starter who advances process improvements and exercises sound risk management judgement + Demonstrate strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills by developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve efficiency \#LI-CS23 \#LI-REMOTE **Fortive Corporation Overview** Fortive's essential technology makes the world stronger, safer, and smarter.
