We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Clinical Psychologist to conduct comprehensive, one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability examinations. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide vital assessments that directly contribute to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs' disability determination process.
Position Overview:
As a Clinical Psychologist in this role, you will play a crucial part in evaluating veterans' mental health conditions by conducting thorough, non-therapeutic examinations. Your expertise will help ensure that veterans receive the benefits they deserve. This is a hybrid position, balancing the flexibility of remote work with the collaborative environment of an on-site setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations: Perform one-time, non-treatment behavioral health compensation and pension examinations for veterans, focusing on areas such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
Review and analyze medical records: Thoroughly review pertinent mental health history documentation to gain a complete understanding of each veteran's condition.
Utilize electronic documentation: Capture detailed responses during examinations using a web-based examination form. All documentation is completed electronically, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Contribute to disability determinations: Submit completed examination reports to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, directly influencing disability award decisions.
Maintain professional standards: Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality throughout the examination process.
Work Schedule and Environment:
Hybrid Role: Enjoy a flexible schedule with 2 days of remote/telehealth work and 3 days of on-site work in Fort Wayne, IN.
Full-Time: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Qualifications:
Doctoral Degree: Hold a Ph.D. or PsyD. in Psychology from an APA-accredited doctoral or post-doctoral program.
Active License: Possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted license as a psychologist in any U.S. state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Have or be willing to obtain an active and valid BLS certification.
Location: Must reside within a commutable distance to Fort Wayne, IN.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with using web-based platforms and electronic documentation systems.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with veterans and accurately document examination findings.
