Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The associate in this role will be trained to assemble and test finished good analyzers, sub-assemblies, and/or consumables within the XOS analyzer product group. Daily tasks may include mechanical and electric assembly, optical alignment and testing, and accurate data recording and reporting. It is expected that the associate will work to maintain a clean and organized workspace and toolkit and will participate in daily production reporting and continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities *: *

  • Assembly and test of x-ray analyzers including general mechanical assembly of sub-components and/or consumables to achieve this end.

  • Alignment of x-ray optics utilizing proprietary XOS software.

  • Follows detailed work instructions, completes data entry for process travelers, and documents any relevant production test data.

  • Uses proprietary XOS software perform optical alignment of X-ray sources.

  • Maintains cleanliness and operational effectiveness of assembly/alignment work areas and tools

  • Participates in daily reporting through visual management and meetings to communicate and escalate issues with performance metrics - SQDIP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity)

  • Participates in the execution of process improvements and the development of assembly procedures within the assembly work areas

  • Must be able to work for long periods of time at multiple computer stations with minimal supervision.

The compensation range for this role is $19 - $21 USD per hour.
